A simple way to do Mixture Models in Q.
Requirements
A question with a Question Type setup as an Experiment. See the wiki page here for details on specifications.
Method
Mixture models for segmentation can be performed in Q by:
- Setting up the regression model in Q as an Experiment.
- Selecting Create > Regression > Mixture Models.
- Selecting the experiment question(s) in the Questions to analyze box.
- OPTIONAL - to specify different distributions, press Advanced and specify the required Distribution in the dropdown.
- A report will be generated with information on the model as well as a tree output and segment variable:
Notes
This is the same process as if you gave an Experiment question to a Create > Segments > Latent Class Analysis.
