Introduction
This article describes how to go from a standard table...
...to a table where a specified column has been moved automatically. In this example, Diet Pepsi has moved after Pepsi Max:
Requirements
A table with rows and columns. Tables with column spans are not compatible with this rule.
Method
1. Select your table.
2. In the toolbar go to Automate > Browse Online Library > Sort/Reorder Rows or Columns > Make One Column Appear After Another.
3. Using the drop-downs, select the column you want to move and the column you want it to appear after.
4. Press OK.
Note, if you select Switch rows and columns on your table, the rule will no longer work due to the table dimensions changing. In this case, you will have to apply the Make One Row Appear After Another rule instead.
Additionally, columns moved using this rule cannot later be moved manually via drag and drop.
