Every 10 minutes, Q will automatically save the project you are working on to an AutoRecovery file. If Q crashes or freezes, or your computer shuts down unexpectedly, then Q will offer to recover the most recent version of your project the next time you start Q.
What AutoRecover May Miss
- Up to 10 minutes of your work.
- Anything you have changed in a window that you have not yet clicked OK on. e.g. If you have edited Value Attributes for a variable and not clicked OK then they will not be saved (but see below for exceptions).
Coding and Source Code
From Q 4.11 onwards, Q includes an extra level of AutoRecovery while coding or editing JavaScript source code. Q will save these particular changes to separate AutoRecovery files, and will offer them to you next time you start Q. These changes are saved at least every two minutes.
