How to Use the Online Library When Offline

Introduction

Sometimes you may choose to take a break from the internet and sometimes the internet will take a break from you. Even when this happens, you can still use Q if you plan appropriately.

Method

The Online Library is hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud, which historically has been up for 99.95% of the time.

Any Rule that is run from the Online Library will continue to work even when there is no internet connection, as they are downloaded when they are added to a table.

Please note that R outputs require an internet connection in Q.
