When contacting Q Support, it can be immensely helpful to see your project in action. A QPack is a version of your project with the data file embedded.
There are two ways to send a QPack to support:
- Go to File > Share > Send to Q Support (Encrypted) and in the message field that comes up, please ensure that you note the ticket number
- Go to File > Save As and when saving ensure that the File type is set to Q Pack Files, and then attach the file to your email reply to Q support
Note: Ensure you attached the Q Pack file (.Qpack), and not the Q Project file (.Q) or the Project Backup file (.QBAK).
Regarding confidentiality, non-disclosure & security
Q customers already have a non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement in place as part of the licensing agreement.
When you make your Q Pack, you can encrypt it with a password for extra security.
